How to Ensure a Safe Limo Ride in Surrey
While the world navigates a new normal amid the ongoing threat of COVID-19, we’re all finding ways to adapt. For many people in Surrey, that means getting out of the house and visiting somewhere special. At North Star Limo, we want to take you to your special destination and make sure you arrive safely and in good health.
Based on national guidelines and best practices, we are following procedures to limit risks and make sure our passengers and chauffeurs are always protected.
Here are our recommendations to ensure you have a safe ride with North Star Limo:
If you feel sick, stay home
If chauffeurs are showing any signs or symptoms of COVID-19, including a fever, a new or worsening cough, shortness of breath, or unexplained fatigue, they are required to stay home for 14 days. Chauffeurs will not be permitted to return to work until they no longer have COVID-19 symptoms and they have satisfied self-isolation requirements.
If you are a passenger, please make sure you do not have any COVID-19 symptoms prior to your North Star Limo reservation. If you have COVID-19 symptoms, please call us as soon as possible to reschedule or cancel your reservation. Don’t worry, you won’t be penalized if you’re unable to keep your reservation because of illness.
Limited contact
To protect you and our chauffeurs, we want to limit contact between chauffeurs and passengers as much as possible. When contact cannot be avoided, chauffeurs will wear all necessary protective equipment, including a face covering.
Clean vehicles
To maintain the highest standard of cleanliness, we clean and disinfect our limousines regularly. After every ride, frequently touched surfaces are disinfected, including car door handles, armrests, and seatbelts. If you have concerns or questions about the procedures for cleaning our vehicles, feel free to contact us prior to your reservation, or ask your chauffeur for more information.
Practicing good hygiene
Our chauffeurs are encouraged to wash their hands as frequently as possible, using soap and water for at least 20 seconds each time. Whenever this is not possible, they must use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. This is especially necessary after handling our passengers’ luggage or other personal items.
As a passenger, you are also encouraged to practice good hygiene when riding in our limousines. Please avoid touching your face, coughing, or sneezing in the vehicle without taking the necessary precautions, such as using a tissue or wearing a face covering. For your convenience, your limousine will be equipped with hand sanitizer and tissues.
Routines before and during your limousine ride
Before your limousine ride, please make sure you aren’t feeling ill and thoroughly wash your hands. For everyone’s safety, including you, our chauffeurs, and their families, we recommend you wear a face-covering while you are inside the limousine.
Your chauffeur’s goal is to make sure you feel safe and comfortable. During your ride, please follow their guidelines and advice. And don’t hesitate to ask them for assistance.
If you have any questions about our procedures and policies, please contact us. We’re happy to assist you. And we’re looking forward to taking you to your next destination – safely, comfortably, and in luxurious style.
